Itinerary
The Vic Falls and Chobe safari departs from Johannesburg. Fly from the O R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg to Victoria Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon embark on a 2-hour Sundowner Cruise including finger snacks, beer, wine, champagne and soft drinks available on the Zambezi River.
The Victoria Falls is 150 million years old! A truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, sounds, the smell, the feeling that this may indeed be nature’s supreme masterpiece. Nothing prepares one for your first sight of it.
After breakfast, depart for a road transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana, 100 km west of Victoria Falls. The park is home to 450 species of birds and the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. You reach your lodge and check-in.
Today starts early with a wake-up call and a morning safari. We spend the rest of the day having sumptuous meals, more safaris, enjoying the luxury of the accommodation and the surrounding beauty of the Africa bush on the edge of the river! Overnight Chobe Safari Lodge.
